Percentage Change Calculator
Calculate the percentage change between two values — whether an increase or decrease. Use it for price changes, population growth, stock returns, test score improvements, and any before/after comparison.
Complete User Guide
Enter the original (old) value and the new value. The calculator computes the difference, divides by the original value, and multiplies by 100. A positive result means an increase; a negative result means a decrease.
The Mathematical Formula
((New Value - Old Value) / Old Value) × 100
Percentage Change = ((New Value − Old Value) / Old Value) × 100. If Old = 200 and New = 250, change = ((250 − 200) / 200) × 100 = +25%. If New = 150, change = −25%.
